London Ambulance Voluntary Responder Group Donate Fundraise Volunteer with London Ambulance Service Join the capital’s emergency and urgent care responders – learn new skills, connect LAS with your community, and help save lives. At London Ambulance Service, we are proud to provide emergency and urgent care to people when it matters most. But beyond what we can do in our day-to-day operational work – from the immediate interventions of our call handlers to the life-saving care we provide at the scene or over the phone – we know more can be done to save lives in the capital. We want to give more people the equipment and skills they need to save a life in the moments before an ambulance arrives. We want to see more defibs ready for use on the streets of London, recruit and train more volunteer Community First Responders, and continue our work to create generations of life savers by providing free CPR training to school children across the capital. Because we know, when a heart stops, the most powerful response is not blue lights – it is a human being. Could that person be you?
