Who we are

The London Ambulance Service Charitable Fund (the Charity) is the official registered NHS charity raising funds to support the busiest ambulance service in the UK. We raise vital funds to add value to London Ambulance Service, providing enhancements and initiatives which are beyond what is possible solely with statutory government funding.

Our mission

We advance the services provided by London Ambulance Service through our three enduring missions:

• Improving the healthcare and resilience of the communities we serve.
• Enhancing the health and wellbeing of the people working and volunteering for the London Ambulance Service.
• Sharing and celebrating the proud history of London’s emergency healthcare services.

Donations to the London Ambulance Charity have been used to fund things like Wellbeing Support Vehicles and cafes, outdoor gardens and rest areas at ambulance stations, a staff hardship fund, CPR/defibrillation training, and the installation of public-access defibrillators in communities across the capital.
