Thank you to each and every one of you who attended, participated in and supported our Big Stadium Abseil on Friday 14th March!

Our brave #TeamLAS Charity abseilers took on the daring challenge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, scaling the famous stadium where they got to complete #TheDareSkywalk, stepping out onto a glass walkway a whopping 46.8 metres above the Spurs pitch to see the iconic golden cockerel close up and admire the scenic view, before stepping off #TheEdge whilst hanging by ropes for descent to complete the thrilling 42 metre abseil. Our daring thrill seekers bravely undertook this exhilarating challenge to raise money for the London Ambulance Charity, to support our great cause.

It was such a fun-filled day alongside adrenaline and brave moments of facing fears! The Charity team had a great time cheering from the ground and are so proud of everyone who took part.

Not only was it such a great day, but a staggering amount of
over £28,500 has been raised for London Ambulance Charity. This will fund wellbeing initiatives, life-saving equipment, and CPR training!

Shonagh Massrahim, a Project Manager at London Ambulance Service, dressed up as Wonder Woman to complete the challenge.

She said: “It was terrifying! I had my eyes closed the whole time. My legs are shaking. Everything is shaking. But it was exhilarating.”

Shonagh and Jordan creatively completed the abseil in Wonder Woman and Incredibles costumes

Lina, the Charity Development Administrator, also took on the daring challenge.

She explained: "It was a wonderful experience and I'd totally do it again. It was nerve-wracking when we got to the top but it was actually way less terrifying than I thought it would be. I trusted the process and enjoyed the beautiful view and the exhilarating experience. I'm glad I conquered this challenge. I am so proud of myself, and I love that it's for such a great cause!"
